In stock company is always in the presence of a wide range of natural hog casings diameter from 32 to 44 + mm.

Processing and Packaging

Hog casings come in salt form (marinade). Casings are supplied in bundles of the total length of 100 yards (91.44 m), sorted by diameter. Usually hog casings come packed in a mesh of three-hank to prevent the entanglement of the intestines or individual hanks.

Features

  • Guts should be well salted, moderately moist, place dressings hanks are well rubbed with salt.
  • The intestines should have a natural smell, not a stranger, not typical of guts. Color of salted intestines should be from light pink to gray, and the color of dry bladder - from light golden to light brown.
  • At the casings are not permitted pathological defects (abscesses, purulent acne, tumors, bruises, etc.), mold, and rust.
  • The quality of processing and physical indicators of each type of casings should meet certain requirements:
    • Hog casings should be cleared of mucous, serous and muscle shells, the walls of the intestines must be strong and not contaminated by the contents of the guts, no pathological defects, the ends of each segment should be cut cleanly.

Hog casings are usually divided into two grades of quality:

Highest grade:

Hog casings are well cleaned and free from residues of the mucous membrane, the walls of the intestines must be solid, without holes and can withstand water pressure of 0,05 MPa (0.5 kgf/cm2). Guts must be stable quality and diameter along the length of the segments. Hanks supplied mainly from long segments of casings. Non-dusty pimply to 0,1 mm. Number of segments in the hank - no more than 15 pieces, the number of short segments of up to 2 meters, not more than 2. The casings are used in the manufacture of sausages with automatic untwisting of sausages and wieners for high-efficiency equipment.

Grade A:

The casings are well cleared of mucous, serous, and muscle shells, the walls of the intestines must be strong and withstand water pressure of 0.05 MPa. Hanks supplied by long segments of casings. At one end of a long gut (over 12m) allowed one not sprawling hole. Allowed a small amount of spotty (up to 0.5 mm) and small remnants of the mucous membrane in the form of thin strips - no longer than 5cm. Number of segments in the hank not more than 15 pieces, the number of short segments of up to 2 meters - less than four. Casings of A category are used as auto and manual untwisting sausages and wieners.

In stock company is always available a wide range of natural hog bladders with weight of 1 to 3 kg. Hog bladders are available in salted form (marinade) in plastic barrels.

Features

Hog bladders should have a natural smell, not a stranger, not typical of intestinal raw materials. Color should be from light pink to light brown.

The quality of processing and physical indicators of each type of hog bladders should meet certain requirements:

  • Bladders should be well salted, with strong, elastic walls, are not contaminated by impurities, and are not damaged by rodents and insects, without holes and cracks.
  • Bladders supplied with tails or without.
  • Allowed to produce bladders with blind injuries walls to withstand water pressure up to 0.5 MPa. Not allowed on the bladders the presence of fat and mold.
  • Wet salted bladders are sorted by weight in increments of 0.5 kg: 1.0-1.5 kg, 1.5-2.0 kg, 2.0-2.5 kg, 2.5-3.0 kg.
